Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace,
Today was pretty packed. For brunch Kathy made 9 dozen egg sandwiches. That does not include the mini tootsie rolls, little debbi cakes and donuts they had. then we turned around and made 38 plates of food at 4:30 of chicken and noodles, corn, peaches and bread and butter....Over the course of the day it's safe to say we had 70 people through. You see not all stay for dinner and not all that come for dinner at 4:30 were there for brunch.......
The Lord is working on the landlord you see he said today that we are storing up treasures in heaven. He is very reluctant to mess with something the Lord is doing. He wants to work with us to put us in the end building. He says he will have to raise the rent...but mom has not talked to him yet. She will on Friday. At any rate the place next door looks like it could be a good thing. It does not have a kitchen but one of the little rooms could be made into one. He will put in the 220 volts for the stove. But I want to put a sink in and a few other things and make it a real kitchen. This will have to be done before we move in. I found help to do it tonight but we will need materials money. Things for shelves, a sink and other things. So the move to do it right and make things better will cost every bit of $1000 to $1500..But if we do move with this landlord, I do not think we will have to worry about being kicked out again...as we have had this hanging over us for years.
There really is no question of moving in. Only for mom to get him to keep the rent under $400...he wants $440.....We can barley afford $400. We pay the rent and the ministry pays the bills. Speaking of which are now do.
Today we had the blankets come in. We passed out about half of them I did not count. They were and are needed badly. It was a blessing to them.
So pray about helping right now, pray about it and do as you are led by the Lord!
